Life is Ever Changing
You hold the power to your own purpose. Never settle.
Hey friends,
It’s been about two months since I last wrote here—and wow, so much has changed. I’ve been putting in real work on myself and my writing career. I even landed a summer writing job! It’s been such a blessing and has given me a much-needed boost. For the first time in a long time, I feel confident in what I want to do and who I want to become. I finally believe I have the tools to get there.
For most of my life, I’ve battled a quiet fear: What if I don’t make it? What if everything I do amounts to nothing? What if I’m not special enough?
But a while ago, I began my affirmations and gratitude journaling journey. It started off slow, but it gave me something I didn’t know I needed: purpose. It helped me recognize all the things I have accomplished. Even at my day job, which used to drain me, I found ways to stay grounded and positive. That mindset shift has been powerful and life-changing. I truly believe that this practice helped lead me to this writing job. Things started to align, one by one.
And though I’ll be returning to my day job in a few weeks, I’m going back with a completely different mindset. I feel ready. I feel strong. I feel like I finally understand my purpose and I believe with all my heart that I can and will achieve everything I set out to do.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity this summer job gave me. And I believe it’s just the beginning.
You hold your own power. You’re more capable than you realize.
So here’s your gentle nudge: Take a few minutes this week, open a notebook, and write down a few affirmations and things you’re grateful for. Even if it feels silly or pointless, just do it. Let it shift your perspective. Let it change your life.
